Contucci experience
For every lover of wine, history and art, an exclusive CONTUCCI EXPERIENCE guided tour is available. These particular visits have this articulation:
- Visit Palazzo Contucci

- Visit some rooms of Palazzo Contucci, still the residence of the Contucci family, built by Antonio da San Gallo the Elder in 1517, including the famous “Sala delle Feste”, decorated in 1702 by Andrea Pozzo.
- Visit Contucci Cellars

- Extended visit of the Contucci Cellars, part of the oldest city walls of Montepulciano (11th – 13th century); the only one of the historic cellars in the monumental center of our city, still fully operational.
- Panoramic Garden Visit

- Visit to the panoramic garden with spectacular views of the entire Valdichiana and Lake Trasimeno (not possible in case of adverse weather conditions).

- Guided tasting, inside the Enoteca a Palazzo Contucci, of Rosso di Montepulciano DOC and 3 different labels of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, accompanied by a plate of local cured meats, two types of local pecorino cheese and bread with our Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
This visit lasts about 2 hours and costs € 40,00 per person. If the group is not interested in the plate of local products, described above, the 4 wines for tasting can be accompanied by snacks and the cost drops to € 25,00 per person.
The CONTUCCI EXPERIENCE is organized from April 1st to January 6th on Tuesdays and Saturdays in the morning at 11.00 a.m. and in the afternoon at 3.30 p.m.
Offer valid until 20 people maximum.
“Contucci Experience visits must be booked at least 10 days in advance”.
